Nope, sorry, full up, no room left, no vacancies....oh go on then. :D
Koji and Pikey are bringing 1500 each. Can you do 1500 or will I need to make up some shortfall in your list?

I can squeeze close to 1500, but it sounds like Nick's only bringing 1000 points to add to Mike's 1500? I can easily do 1000 if that's the case.

Want me to bring a mat and some terrain etc as well?

Nick is bringing 1500 (we discussed it by PM before you joined the game), so if you can bring 1500 or close to it, that woulf be great. I will have my Heer with me as well, so don't feel that you need to max every option out. You can always put 500 points of Grenadiers down

I'll bring two mats with me, as that way, both halves of the table will match. Some terrain would be great though.

@ Komura: Great game today! It was an action packed battle with lots of bayonet and close quarter fighting. A Victory to Emperor Karl Franz and Austria.

@ Everyone: It was good to see you all. Sorry I had to split so soon, but I the wife called.

Least, let it be known, win or lose...

@Pikey, Yellowstreak and Koji - Thanks for the game guys. It really came down to the wire, with the Airborne holding on by the skin of their teeth. Well done Koji.

@All - It was good to see everyone. I will probably miss October's games.

October's venue hasn't been decided yet, but will either be Zengo or Kariya.

It was fun! I'd be happy to lend you models if you feel like playing against any of the guys at Kuwana anytime.

Truly the SS and Fallschirmjäger outclassed the Allies with their fearless and ferocious attack taking key positions in buildings on the left flank and a thick tree line on the right flank and battered the Allied positions with constant fire. A valiant effort by Major Allison Digby Tatham-Warter to charge the Germans on the flanks with some of the bravest volunteers from A company was repelled in short order by unforgiving German assault rifle fire and a flame thrower. When the German mortars finally honed in on the building the last of the airborne were hunkering down in, and the flame thrower teams successfully bullet-dodged their way to within firing range - it appeared as though all was lost - and more so when Lt. Col. John Frost was burned to a crisp by the flame thrower. Ouch! The kiwis were too hard pressed themselves in the North to reach them in time. But thanks to the valiant cowering of the British Airborne 6-pdr anti-tank gun team - which incidentally meant they could never push their gun to actually point at any tanks - the bridge was held, and earned the artillery team the moniker 'Tought Nut'. Now if only they could earn themselves the nickname 'Nut Cracker'. Maybe next time....:D

@Job
Thank you for gaming yesterday. My Austrian was lucky. I think the large infantry with crack rules works very well. I'm looking forward to have another opportunity.

@All

The big battle of BA is very tempting. I want to join next game, if I can.
