Everyone had very powerful armies with experienced commanders controlling them. Not many easy wins to be had. As for the Eldar, marines have a really hard time against them when they are fully geared up. I reckon if a few different races like Nids and the like were in the tournament, it would have put spanner in the works for some.

In total we had
1 Eldar Player,
1 IG Player
4 Loyalist Marine Players
3 Chaos Marine Players

MEQ was very much the thing to beat. Nids, Mech Guard, Orks or even Dark Eldar would have shaken things up a lot.

From my own point of view, I would have liked to bring along Nids or Mech Guard (or even Blood Angels or Space Wolves) to tear things up, but as a ringer I figured bringing a solid, but fair list would be better. As it was, I was very happy with my Deathwing, as they really took a pounding from Miguelsan's guard but just kept on coming.

A big sorry for not bringing the Ork Army I was fixing to take... there just was not enough time to get them all done... and with paint worth as much as a win I needed to take a smaller model count... I hope we can have a Tournament before Nagoya Hammer so the Orks can crush Da Panzzy and Beeky skum
