Dave, Rob and Justin your armies feature nicely.

Well, your army looks good. Just need to get some more practice games in with it. Regular marines aren't bad, just keep trying. Ganbatte kudasai!

Ive got a lot of respect for your playing Ultramarines. No fancy codexy special nonsense, just Space Marines, as theyre intended. Keep fightin' the good fight :)

Aint nothing wrong with Codex marines. The Space Puppies and Twilight(C) Marines get all the glory/publicity/flak but Codex marines can be rock hard too. There are so many cool toys in that book that I wish my CSM had access to (GW - give me back my master crafted lightning claws!) Not too mention some sweet characters and the ability to play any variation on Marines that you like.

I wish Codex Marines could have Master Crafted Lightning Claws too. (Well, Shrike has them, but he is a named character).
I would have thought you'd want your spikey bits back too. Same as master crafted, but cheaper.

@Prim: Nobody likes a Smart**** :) The point was that they have a lot of cool war gear which I wouldn't mind so much except that they stripped Codex: CSM of all their goodies with nothing in return. I long for the days of Slaanesh Lords with master crafted Lightning Claws and spikey bits. *sniff*

That must be why nobody likes me then. Oh well.

I for one am glad that the days of Slaanesh Lords with master crafted Lightning Claws and spikey bits are long gone. Those guys could lay some serious smack down.

Yeah, I've been playing this edition of 40k for about two years now. I think I've had my fill for the time being. At least I have them in case I need to use them.

Well, if you ever decide you want a game, let me know. As I said, Ultras arent bad, you just need to get more games in against varied opponents.
