There are two Xenos books. If they put the Harlies, Crafties and Darkies in separate books I'm going to...well, I'll throw my toys out of my pram, for starters...
Zoom in on the books.
Belay that order, ensign! Stow toys back in pram. Maintain course, steady as she goes...
On a side note: my sympathies to the Necron players. Nowt but a footnote in what amounts to a glorified eldar book. Kawai so, naaaaa
Also, jeebus. We're up to 5 eldar factions now (if you include corsairs, which I most certainly do.) It's getting to near Space Marine levels. Although, at least the eldar are notably different to each other (ok, Ynnari are pure mish-mash, but otherwise, they're fairly distinct, at least)
@ToD - those jet pack marines are surprisingly nice. The designers have managed to maintain Marininess, while adding a touch of Infinity-ish realism, with all the vents and jetty bits/flaps and whatnot. Job's a good un.
Overall, GW remain in my good books with these developments. If I can pick up the main book and the Index:Pointy Ears for a reasonable price, I probably will. Still on the fence about the box set, though. I don't suppose anybody would want to buy the BigMarines off me? While I dont need any more plague marines, per se, the nurgle characters, the drone, and the shufflers are all new stuff that I quite like the look of, and I could find a use for the Plaguies, I'm sure. Any takers?
(It may be worth noting that any stuff I buy for the new edition will be bought from UK online discounty type retailers (probly Element Games or Firestorm) and as such will: A) Not get back to Japan until I do, mid August and B) Be a hell of a lot cheaper than you could buy it for here. If folks wanted, I could probably pick up some stuffs for you, within reason. Just sayin...)
