Today I did some more work on a bunch of Vikings as well as some movement trays and a set of river tiles.

I went up to Ichinomiya and picked up my Start Collecting Skitarii box, which will give me everything I need for NagoyaHammer. Also got in a couple games of Shadespire, and got a nice solid win with the skeletons.

finished these a couple of days ago: 3 BB Elven Union players. The colour scheme was set by the commissioner, as I had to match it to some minis he'd previously painted. I do like it, though. Very Blood Bowl, without being too garish. Also, these new BB minis are really nice. Loads of dynamic movement, and incredibly clean sculpts. buggersome difficult to pose on clear bases, mind you (no peg for stabilising the mini, and can't use superglue because of the frosting effect...)

I painted up one guard lady tonight. Thankfully I kept thorough notes of my color scheme, and the new recruit fits in well with the ones I did 2 years ago.

I have discovered, to my joy, that you totally can. I've been supergluing my mans to clear acrylic bases for a while now and have never had frosting. May depend on the brand, I guess, but the yellow-tube stuff you get at convenience stores whose name I forget doesn't.

(Also, those are some lurvely colors on those elves. Nice bright sports-uniform-y colors without being cartoonish.)

Aron Alpha?

@M_i_J - Nice Elves, lovely work on the highlighting. The poses are a massive improvement over the previous 2D style of earlier BB minis.

Yes, that's the stuff!

Also, last night and this morning I assembled all my new robot boys, except for the top bit of the dunecrawler. The plan is to get my NagoyaHammer army painted up by the April games day - which is, like, only the dunecrawler, the dominus and 3 of the skitarii, so totally doable.

Awesome stuff M_i_J! Dynamic minis and a beautiful paint job. :)

@Dekana - It is hard to pick the brush up after a while, but once you get back into the flow things will speed up.

Great work everyone as always!
Had a very productive painting session yesterday evening and this morning.
12 Pikemen all longingly base coated and highlighted. Nearly finished. Now I can't find the pikes.!
I put them in a safe place because they were sharp and dangerous.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Those Blood Bowl Elves need to be entered into a painting competition MiJ. Bloody amazing.
