Re: What did you do today.
I got in my first game of the new Necromunda at a local games shop here in Texas (texas toy soldier) yesterday. Despite my Orlocks getting thoroughly whipped (3+ rolls seemed largely beyond the capability of my dice - I was beginning to wonder if most of the dots had fallen off the other faces!) it was a good game. Not so different from the old Necromunda to be honest, just more 'streamlined'.
So many games, so little time....

Tried to finish up my last 2 figures before I start a project for Prim......and somehow lost a hand. I mean the figure's hand I sculpted. I'm fine, thank you. So I had to re-do it and will need another day to do the sculpt the last 10 minutes of details and then wait another day to spend 10 minutes painting and attaching it. THEN I'll be done....... I know the minute I get it finished, the part I lost will show it in the vacuum cleaner dustbox, or under some random clutter.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Pretty poor pics with the ol' travel camera, but here are some offerings:
A squad of Grey Hunters on the err...hunt!

Some heavy cavalry for Dragon Rampant. Be sure not to get your name put down in his book!

Het mate! Glad you are getting a gaming fix in the heart of...well, in the east of Texas (I think you are in the east, right?).YellowStreak wrote:I got in my first game of the new Necromunda at a local games shop here in Texas (texas toy soldier) yesterday. Finished up most of my Orlocks the other night, enough for a fully-painted starting gang anyway:

Great stuff mate. Those look awesome, as do the Wolves.
@Yellowstreak - Cool looking gang. Better luck on those 3+'s next time!

I played around with battle scribe and put together a hilarious, but probably terrible Imperial Guard list that spams valkyries.
Otherwise, I'm just working on my manticores.

Re: What did you do today.
Lots of nice painting in this thread these past few days. Good-oh, chaps
As for me, I done finished another mini. This is a KS exclusive kicker for the Fireforge Games Amazon SmasHers team. Quite nice minis, and much less fiddly to paint than I had initially feared. The one issue I had with this fig (and tbf it was a prety damn major one) was that her face was miscast (mould slip). Full credit to Fireforge, when my client mailed them the below picture, they immediately apologized (within a couple minutes) and said theyd have a replacement sent forthwith. I, however, decided to fix 'er up. The results are below...(edit: the colours in these pictures are rubbish. IRL, the copper trim is downright shiny orange, and her eyes are white, not pink. The ball and straps on her arm are red, and the armour is turquoise. No idea what my camera is up to

Re: What did you do today.
Last night I did my first real painting since NagoyaHammer. I got some German infantry up to the halfway mark, finished and varnished a couple of minis for D&D and made some major headway with a building for this month's gauntlet.
I also started on a new terrain project, though I am keeping the exact details under wraps for a while.
@M_i_J - Nice work on the face, it's a noticeable improvement.
@Miguelsan - Nice terrain. Doed it light up?
