Finally got the bases and final touches done on the latest backwoods derelict/degenerate. Pretty happy with it. The pattern on the shirt was a bit beyond my current painting mojo, but from an arm's length, you get the idea.

And this started as the wireframe for the Madmiral's Rat-Ogre. It turned out to be too small and I think a bit broke off anyways. So I added another couple left over bits of wire and it turned into a don't waste the extra putty project. Pretty rough, but it was just for silly fun.
"Whut? Oh that there's an Appalachian Chicken-Goat. Good eatin'. Wul, ah mean they're good at eatin'. Townsfolk mostly."

I finished up the first two of Magore's Fiends for Shadespire:



The studio models have a lava effect for the skull pit things on the bases, but "GW spooky ghost turquoise" is more fitting for haunted Shadespire and gives a cool balance to the warm palette on the models themselves, so I went for that. The stone on the bases might get another level of edge highlighting if I feel like it. One more murderous loonie and a flesh hound to go and the warband will be done.

@ToD - Those spooky bases look good. For once GW's skull fixation serves a purpose.

Turned out OK, I reckon! Now it's back to AdMech for a bit with my Enginseer and still yet more Skitarii.

I finished painting my tanks and artillery pieces last week, and I took a short break from painting after that (to rest up after the pre-Naghammer rush).

Break's over! Now I'm working on painting up more of my infantry babes. I'm going to try to get through all the remaining squads before moving on to other tasks.

I haven't really been feeling the ol' hobby mojo these past couple of weeks. The town kumi-ai group took up a fair amount of free time over the past couple of weekends and my better half has been busy at work, leaving me to do all of the housework. So, when I have had free time, I haven't felt like doing much. I have a building on my work bench at the moment that I am hoping to get done by the end of the month, along with a group of German Grenadiers.

Not much to report recently. Been sorting and tidying up my tool and bitz box a bit. Got started on a secret project for Prim. Will try to have a test/example piece done by the weekend.
