True, the new models are light years ahead of the old titans. The Other Dave wrote:I do! Many!Primarch wrote:Don't you already have a collection of titans though? But the draw at this point is the really wonderful new models at least as much as the promise of a game. And while I have great affection for the 1988 beetlebacks in my collection, they're not, like, actually very good models by any stretch when it comes down to it.

Work in progress, zombicide survivors!

@Jus - Nice work, they look like they've been in a few scrapes.

And to continue. I have done like nothing game related (asides sketching a gate for a Go-Mo Fort) these last few weeks. But I got some pics from my buddy of the Saga Moors I painted for him. Fighting the Saga Vikings I painted for him. I need to get back to work!

@ Jus, Auxryn: Nice warriors!
I have been making some good progress on the IG squad and sentinel the past week. It’s been a fun project to get back into hobby stuff.

Re: What did you do today.
I have just a few more days to go until the end of the painting challenge I am taking part in.
When I first signed up, my goal was a modest 500 points or about 100 models, (one 28mm mini being worth 5 points). Along the way there were a couple of bonus stages where extra points could be picked up if you could paint something that matched the theme. Things like adding banners to units, hand painting shields or going the extra mile to make your models stand out could also net you a handful of bonus points if the moderator was feeling generous.
Well, even though my target was 500 points, I am sitting at nearly 1450 at the moment and I have until next Thursday morning (the deadline is 23:59 Wednesday in America), to paint more minis, take pictures and post them up online. This weekend is going to be a busy one.

Re: What did you do today.
@Jus - Nice work on those fantasy heroes. The miniatures are cool and you are bringing them to glorious life.
@ Konrad - Its always a thrill to actually get painted minis on the table, especially ones that have lots of effort and sweat put into them.
@ Primarch - Good luck in the final stretch mate!!
Not much, but it is a start. Thought the Exodites needed a bit of help from the Phoenix Lords - those mysterious heroes wandering the galaxy and listening for the call of fate to ensure the continuation of the Eldar race.
Not wishing to work with any kind of finecast, I found an old version of a Howling Banshee exarch and converted my own weapons for her. The older edition of the banshees were a little larger than the current ones (maybe 32 mm?), and so she has the size to represent a Phoenix Lord. I think I did a good job with her weapons too. The paint job is as good as I expected after a long break from painting. I may go back to add some more details to her, but my Jain Zarr is no plain Jane I reckon!
