As Jye said the Sister are entirely new models while the Pathfinders are an upgrade kit just like the cadian upgrade kit.

Given how that specific set of rumours seem to be very on point, I might as well start looking for a new apartment to prepare for all the incoming Chaos and Squats... Better not be a botched Squat job.

Hmm, I'd heard somebody say the sisters were also an upgrade sprue, and it looked like the arms and legs might be the same as the standard models. :shrug:!

I do hope they get into some weird corners of the 40K universe. Hrud! Those weird gun fungus things from the 40K core rulebook! Even another chance to pick up some Gellerpox would make me pretty happy.

Having a closer look I can actually see where this impression came from and I started to have doubts but apart from Warcom saying it's all new, I think there's just *too much stuff* on the existing Sisters sprues for an upgrade sprue to make sense. They're incredibly packed and apart from odd things like putting a third Simaculum in the box on the upgrade sprue, you'd be leaving a lot of weapon options that are presumably not legal for the new team in the box.

(I was going to appeal to my authority of having assembled *many* Battle Sisters boxes but honestly my memory is not that good and I don't trust myself )

Also, I know local folks don't really play Necromunda, so this may have slipped under people's radar, but the latest "outlaw" gang just announced would make really really good generic Chaos cultists or Inquisitorial goons or what have you:

I imagine that's the point - they wanted underhive scum that didn't show any allegience to any house, chaos cults, genestealers, or what have you. When you file off any identifying qualities, you end up with... kind of generic techno-barbaric dudesters.

It's not that the minis are bad, it is just the rest of the Necromunda figs are fabulous.

I also like the terrain.
