Re: What did you do today.
Over the last couple days, I finally got over jetlag enough to put water in my cup and do some painting. I did a birb:

And I'm not allowed to prime my next titan until I finish the warband!

And a very pretty birb it is. Nice work on the bases, I guess they are for an Underworlds warband? The Other Dave wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 10:35 pmOver the last couple days, I finally got over jetlag enough to put water in my cup and do some painting. I did a birb

Nice birb!
I'm doing a lot of assembly, all of it of the pointy-eared variety. My plan is to get a Combat Patrol of Harlequins painted up for this month's game day, which will be a stretch but with the Elden Ring platinum in the bag and the weather improving I think it's possible. The main problem is gluing weapon options when I won't have the Codex until Saturday, which means squinting at potato cam images of datasheet leaks on the internet, for a book I've already paid for
(the other main problem is getting up early enough to take advantage of the weather and prime in the little park next door without scaring the neighbours, which is very much a struggle. Aborted an attempt to prime my remaining Custodes, the Escher and the first batch of elves on Sunday when I couldn't drag myself out the door until 10:30 and found the place full of families)
The Craftworlders can be a slower burn, since I'll need to run Drukhari and Harlequins to earn the RP for them, and it'll take a while. Still very excited and having fun gluing them.

Haha yeah, it's the magic sauce for nice consistent results with Contrasts really. Always Be Thinning (But Not With Water!).me_in_japan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 5:25 am@dave - nice birdy.

I finished up Xandire's Truthseekers:

I kind of got bored of doing a good job on the NMM a bit of the way through, but eh, it's fine.

Re: What did you do today.
OK, the painting flood gates are open (and it's spring break for another couple weeks).
Here are the game pieces for that space survival puzzle boardgame, Unsettled:

They painted up OK! (Although Shyish Purple remains hard to work with.) I've got a bunch of random dungeon adventurer dudes to paint up for Tiny Epic Dungeons next, then I'll get back to Titanicus I reckon.

Re: What did you do today.
I detect a finished Horizon Forbidden West. Awesome work!
Similarly, Elden Ring has given way to the pointy eared horde.

The colour scheme is more subdued than I intended (my pot of Volpus Pink has turned a bit manky while I had a nice new one of Akhelian Green) but they're painted. I'm short a couple of jet bikes, a Troupe Master, and a replacement for the mostly pink guy I gave up on, but I've already made progress on the bikes and I can assemble the other two tomorrow when I finally get the book.
