That squigbuggy looks awesome, Matt! Your army is getting even cooler to face on the table.

For my part I'm finally painting my Custodes bikes but they're not quite there yet, need a few more meetings and then a little focus time to finish them off. I did start assembling the Aeldari loot I've been collecting, starting with a Wraithlord whose arm promptly fell off and apart when I picked it up this morning. Those old kits don't tolerate careless assembly the way newer stuff does, looks like I'll have to hold things in place properly and show some patience 😬

A Falcon that I ordered turned up from England too, which was a bit of a watershed moment as while a lot of my hobbying for the past few years has been *driven* by nostalgia from being into Warhammer in high school, this is the first kit I've picked up that was actually *available* when I was in high school. Good thing it's such a classic design, they definitely still hold up looks-wise.

See if you can spot which one got dropped during painting. The flight stands are fragile...

The great thing about mistake-fixers like that is that I 100% would not have flagged that basing as "he must have snapped the flying base at some point" if you hadn't told me. :lol:

I really should do one with the barrels and boxes a bit tipped over so it looks like they're being blasted by a near-proximity repulsor pass, but reducing the gluable surface area will get me right back where I started in disintegrating base land :lol:

The real reason I'm bringing Custodes tomorrow: if it's in the list, it gets painted.

@Jus- yeah true 25 is so tiny these days. I got a diorama set of "The Spirit of 76" that was about a true 25 scarl. My buddy wanted me to do for his Muskets and Tomahawks game and we put it on hold when I mentioned that they'd look like 12 year old boys standing next to the other figures.

@MattB- we gotz to getz uz in sum Gorkamorka wun uv deez dayz.

@Prim-creep, crawly, spider, lady ick.

@Jye- love those Custodes jet bikes. I'd love to Blanchitsu the hell out of a Custodes figure or two someday.

And as for me Vive le Empereur!Image Image

Apparently the French kept their soldiers well fortified brandy-wise. It was a fun figure, lots of character. I rigged up the harness out of flattened brass wire, and that was a real pita to assemble. But in-spite of that , fun figure, lots of character. ImageImageImageImage

@Konrad - Tres magnifique. The harness on the horses is above and beyond, I hope your friend is paying you very well for that kind of work.
