I have heard from Badruck that Ikeda san may be coming, but I havent heard from Ikeda himself. The Japanese gamers have very graciously scheduled the Kamimaezu game on the 24th so that it doesnt clash with this event. I dont know if any of them will be coming though. (But Kondo san was playing WFB against Asch last time at Joshin so maybe....)
I have made a thread about the event on the board for Japanese Nagoya members, and Kondo-san friendly made a announcement on the blog. But I haven't heard nothing from other Japanese players.
I sent a message for Ikeda-san, with no reply yet. I'll call him and a few Japanese WHFB players to ask if they will come in this weekend.

Other Japanese players coming to the event

Guys, there's good news and bad news.
Good one is... Ikeda-san will join the Halo-War. He's just told me that he will come with his DE army.
Bad one is... Kondo-san won't come.

Bad news - due to work I'm not going to be able to make it to Hallo-War.

My Dark Elves are cursing me as I type this. Really. The miniatures are swearing that Khaine will devour my soul. I think I need to get more sleep...

Anyway, sorry that I won't be there, and hope to see you all at the next event!

Just heard about the expected typhoon.

Not sure if it is supposed to hit Sat or Sun or will completely miss Nagoya (as often happens). I will have no trouble as I only take the subway and it is usually unaffected. I just thought guys using Meitetsu and JR might have trouble. :?:

oh pleeeeeeeaaase let it be Saturday. May the weather gods smite all those who say working on weekends is a good idea. Even the nuns. (If there's a bofu keiho then school is cancelled. Hint, hint, weather gods...)

I am praying for you and me too! Being a fellow Saturday worker

Just as long as their wrath has been spent by Sunday morning ;)

Well, dagnabbit, it looks like taking care of a month-old baby is as time-consuming as they say, heh. I'll have to bow out, I'm afraid. Hopefully I'll be able to make November's Joshin day and play some WFB, though, knock on wood!
Feel free to call me Dave!
