I actually misplaced this guy and when I found him I noticed I'd already laid down the red on his steed and made worse decisions about it than for the Lord Invocatus. However done is better than consistent or good so I rolled forward with it.

@Jye - Some very colourful squigs. They should really stand out on the tabletop.

And I have finished off some models as well.
First of all, some 10mm Chasseurs d'Afrique for the Franco-Prussian war. Despite their name, they weren't Africans. Instead the regiment was raised from French settlers in Africa. These were printed for me by Jus and painted up nicely despite being tiny.


And some Roman Auxiliaries from Warlord Games. I think that these were one of the earlier ranges the company produced and the quality is a bit hit and miss, especially around the faces sadly.

So, having done a bunch of historical minis lately, I figured I should try my hand at some fantasy minis.
First of all, a Skink Priest. The model comes from the dual build Carnosaur kit, which I painted a while back. As the figure is meant to be riding a monster, I had to balance it on a piece of scenic resin to get it to stand upright properly.

And to accompany this little fellow, 10 Saurus warriors. These scaly chaps are from the 1996 release of Warhammer Fantasy 5th edition, though their shields and the banner are from the newer (but not the newest) kit.


And as something a little different, I painted up some Reaper scenic bits that I have had lying around for a while to make this little camp-site terrain piece.
